My aim as a therapist is to help you identify your goals for treatment and then work together to achieve them.  Using a variety of evidence based methods, I individualize treatment based on your needs and work with you to create lasting change.  I foster a calming and compassionate environment but am not afraid to challenge you in order to help you maintain accountability and actualize your greatest potential. 

I approach the work through a psychodynamic lens, but am well versed in a variety of other empirically validated methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based therapy.  My approach is trauma informed, identity affirming, and empowerment focused. My background in theater allows me to be creative and flexible while I also remain goal oriented and focused on your specific needs.
