About me

I lived in New York City for my whole life before moving to Los Angeles in 2015.  I am a New York and California Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  I received my BA from Cornell University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude, and I completed my doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology through Yeshiva University.  My predoctoral training was at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center, and I was a postdoctoral fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. I worked at the International Trauma Studies Program through the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University for over ten years.  I have worked with a diversity of demographics in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  In addition to my work as a psychologist, I hold a Masters degree in Performance Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and I have directed, written and co-produced multiple theater projects with international refugees.
